I love you, Oprah
I finally read 'Lovely Bones.' It was that book that people so gallantly mocked me for buying a few months back. I am not even sure if the big ‘O’ recommended it, nor am I positive if it was a good book or if deep down I am just a lonely housewife who really likes to read fiction. In any event I am ready for my next trashy novel. I wonder what Columbia House will deliver next.

It's hard for me to imagine that anyone who read "Lovely Bones" could mock you for purchasing it.
I can't render a verdict vis-a-vis your 'lonely-housewife' concern, but I can tell you that it is a good book.
Yes, it does seem like something Oprah may have recommended, but even a stopped clock is right twice a day...
