Ode to Lipitor

I wanted to write a sweet poem about how Lipitor is a wonder drug and my cholesterol is now 155, but I couldn't think of anything to rhyme with 'arteries clogged.'

Looks like I am going to live to annoy another day.

Great!

  1. Barry,

You give up to easily. Either that, or one of the heretofore unrecognized side effects of the medication is an inability to rhyme.

Perchance the following uggestions from a pharma-free brain might come in handy:

    "clarity fogged"
    "platelets bogged"
    "biked, and not jogged"
    "grinding gears cogged"
    "e-mailed and blogged"
    "beaten and dogged"
    "glutei flogged"
    "green potion grogged"
    "pigged, sowed and hogged"
    "properly logged"
"way too yule-logged" and "Christmas egg-nogged" (if you feel moved to write a Christian rhyme)
    "toaded and frogged"
"I had been splogged!" (as in spam-blogged)
    "soaked in and sogged"
    "zigged, zagged, and zogged"
"thoroughly zog-zogged" (must see the cult classic "Caveman" with Ringo Starr, Dennis Quaid, and Barbara Bach to truly appreciate this one...)

    Hope it helped.
